VAN HUGHES starred in Green Day’s American Idiot on Broadway opposite Billie Joe Armstrong and led the US Tour. Other Broadway credits include Spring Awakening, 9 to 5 and Hairspray. He appeared in both Sex and the City films, Rachel Getting Married, Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains and One Life to Live as well as many commercials and voice-overs. He also composes music for films, most notably Graham Skipper's Sequence Break which premiered and won Best Feature at the Chattanooga Film Festival April 2017.  Van plays bass in the Brooklyn synthpop band, Teen Commandments.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Fordham University.
